The PivotTable field name is not valid. To create a PivotTable report,

This excel spreadsheet error prevent from creating the PivotTable

"The PivotTable field name is not valid. To create a PivotTable report, you must use data that is organized as a list with labeled columns. If you are changing the name of a PivotTable field you must type a new name for the field."

The reason is because there is extra column without name...this is usually caused by merged cell. In order to create pivot table either delete the extra column of the merged cell or give it a column name.

This example is column Column B and C then Column G and H are merged cell. The solution you can delete the C and H column or give them a name.
