Gold Rocks - Geology

We don't have to be a geologist in order to search for Gold and there are many lucky people out there who have been collecting and make a living from Gold prospecting. It just require us to be familiar with certain element that is associated to Gold for example the rock which contains gold deposits. Below is a collection of pictures from various websites to show an example of potential rocks containing gold deposits. To study deeper on the scientific details of the Gold geology and its rocks, there are plenty of online information to provide the basic idea about the formation of Gold Element.



Below are the samples of Gold nuggets that is found areas like the desserts, rivers, mining caves, etc. It gives the idea so not to overlook if it is a gold or something else when stumble upon it. I just have a thought of this idea when thinking about getting more money. Hehe





An important piece of information that Gold formation is taking place on the veins of large stone or rocks. However not all rocks usually have gold deposits stick on it, and only certain type rocks will have it. This is one basic common sense to familiarise with what kind of rocks usually have gold deposits on it.

Areas to search for Gold (Beginners)

• Dessert areas: Exposed Bedrock and Washes. Gold can usually be found on bedrock or in exposed crevices. Desert gold is moved by flash floods, which create washes that maybe gold bearing. The banks of the washes also sometimes pay well, with nuggets that are in the process of being washed down by the infrequent flash flood. 
• Mountain areas: rivers and streams, old mines, hydraulic areas and ancient river channels. Detech all the exposed bedrock on the sides of rivers and streams. Look through tailings piles and around old stamp mills. Check roads that were used for hauling ore.

04 October 2011. Trip to Genting Highland Strawberry Farm (Pahang, Malaysia). The entrance fees to the strawberry farm is FREE of charge. It is only chargeable if you choose to pick some of the strawberry to bring home and it cost about RM15 per 100 grams of strawberry.

As always strawberries are smell nicer than its taste.

Fishing place in Kuching - Sejingkat

People use to call it Sejingkat Bridge even though it is clearly show on the map it is Jalan Keruing, but anyway that is not of any matter at all. What matters is the environment is good place to hang out and for relaxation with families and friends. There is public walkways nicely paved along the river bank for everyone's convenient and you can just fish from there. Although I am not sure what kind of fish do people catch but occasionally i have seen Buntal (puffer-fish), Sea Snake, Selar. I like to hang out at the place during the early evening to fish while enjoying the panorama of night fall.

Ford Fiesta Car Battery (Fujiya) Kuching Sarawak

Quite rare to find a battery to fit Ford Fiesta in Kuching Sarawak - but there is one battery store along the Padungan road that sells all Fujiya battery brand and they have the size. Despite it is written on the battery DIN60R but the list on the salesheet shows this is DIN55 size.

To ensure i have buy the exact battery size therefore i measured the dimension using ruler as follows

Height = 175 mm or 6 15/16 inches

Width = 175 mm por 6 15/16 inches

Length = 242 mm or 9 1/2 inches

This fit the description as in Google search for Ford Fiesta battery.

The price is RM200 for this

Cheap Baby Ear or Forehead Thermometer

Just for record a cheap Thermometer for baby - can be used for ear and forehead. Quite accurate and have compared the measurement with clinic's and hospital thermometer not far different in range of 0.02 discrepancy. Very handy and powered by 2032 battery - made in China and it cost only around RM30 from shopee. Have been using it for quite sometimes and it serve very good thus far - so i keep this record for future reference just in case it's faulty next time can purchase another unit.

Continental Tyre Perodua Alza 185/55 R15 V

Just for record changing the previous tire Good Year. The old Good Year tire was cost around RM240 each or RM480 for two - and i didn't realize it was already 2 years past the expiry date when it was bought. After further research i've found the tire usually can last only around 4 years before it gets harden and cracking. And if you don't know how to check the Workshop Tauke just simply give you a tire that is already nearly the expiry dates like the Good Year the date indicate 4814 which means it was manufactured on the 48 weeks of year 2014. So i bought it on February 2016 which almost 2 years past the expiry date and only left 2 years before it gets expired. As evidence now is April 2018 the tire is badly cracking with small cracks all over the surface - this proof that tire cannot last for so long.

So this new continental tire is manufactured on the 18 weeks of 2017 as indicated by the number 1817 so its fine - left around 3 years to expire. It cost RM280 - i know this is kind of inflated price but i need to change it so I've learn to go to the same shop ever again and search another to get better price next time.

Cheap Cordless Philips Pro made in China hair clipper trimmer

Quite cheap cordless hair trimmer (clipper) made in China called Philips pro. Don't be mistaken with the name there is missing one 'l' so it's not the famous Phillips brand but rather just a replica version of it. It cost RM55 from EG mall..

The motor is driven by 2.4 volt rechargeable battery and it comes with 3 volt charger adapter. 4 combs accessories comes in different cutting length 3mm, 6mm, 9mm, and 12mm.

Reason of getting this hair clipper simply because it is cheaper than those branded stuff and the designed look very sleek and durable with the blades cutter quite precisely made and i believe it is made of brass which is anti-rust.

Experience of using.

Excellent and I don't need expensive trimmer to cut my hair - i liked it because of the precision cutting as the comb nicely designed. Can't say much about cheap stuff as long as it works that's fine for me. The actual series model of this hair clipper is RFC-258 there are other model you can find online China store





The 4 combs size is very highly suitable for short hair.





Despite of 2.4 volt battery but it is good enough to cut hairs and fully charge can cut 1 session just fine.



Very nicely designed blades teeth - almost precise and the grip is very comfortable.

There is a "ting" sound when the car pass through a bump or having bumpy rides - the Perodua sales man says it's probably because of the shock Absorber and they check it out and tt turns out that he was right. One of the it can no longer absorb shock impact and that cause the ting sound when it heat a bump or going through potholes on the road.

Very cool and cheap super bass AIMA AM-8286 earphone with inline microphone cost only RM9.90 from Mr.DIY. This stuff deserve good credit although the superbass might not as good as advertise on the package but with the cheapest of cost it certainly very good. Perhaps as good as original iPhone earphone stuff that cost so expensive.

So if you don't want it to happen go get from the doctor's prescription as above.

Kampung Tabuan Dayak Kuching, Sarawak flood in the year end of 2017 and early 2018

The pictures below flood occur on the 04 December 2017 heavy rains with king tides. It took around 3 hours for the flood to recede. It started around 5:50 PM in the evening and receded around 8:00 PM







Another flash flood with king tides on the 18 December 2017 took around 2 hours for the flood to recede. The picture below is showing the water already receded around 8:53 AM in the morning. The it was much deer around 5:00 AM in the morning





Flash flood on the 11 January 2018 started around 5:00 PM and receded 7:00 by help of fire brigades to suck out the excess water. For the first time the fire brigades department is so helpful in Tabuan Dayak incident.
