Ohm Law calculation: (Vs - Vf) / I
Vs = Voltage Source
Vf = LED voltage drop
I = LED current consumption

Example

Vs = 5 Volt
Vf = 2.2 Volt
I = 18 mA

Resistor required = (5 - 2.2) / 0.018 mA = 180 Ohm
