How to fix vertical video in Windows Movie Maker when save blank/empty/black screen using VLC

Windows Movie Maker is having weird problem with uploaded vertical mobile phone video in PC. The vertical videos tend to result in blank/black/empty screen with just audio when it is saved as the final output. It becomes very frustrating when you don't have to repeat recording it or there is no more chance to record them again.

Nonetheless there a way to solve this although it maybe tedious - and follow this instruction

1. Open the Vertical mobile video on VLC player
2. Convert Click Media>>Convert/Save or press (Ctrl + R) on your keyboard
3. Select a format MP4 or Youtube video
4. Add the video and select the destination to save the video and give it a name

Once the VLC complete converting the file you can edit in Windows Movie Maker and rotate anyhow as you please!! and then save it to any format...it should work.
