Fix torn cable using repair putty stick (sugru alternative)

It may not be as good as sugru but the repair putty stick definitely does a good job to fix torn smartphone charger cable. And of course the price is 70% off the sugru price. It cost around RM5 or so unlike sugru a small packet cost RM18. The application is simple as described on the package just cut a portion depending on the required amount and mix it well evenly until it feels a little hot. Then apply it to the cable...



After 1 day later or so it becomes as hard as stone. Alternatively use hair dryer to heat it to make it dry faster within 10 to 20 minutes.
