This is my cheap Starke power drill 500 watt which i got it for RM45 and it has been doing good for a couple of years until recently it just dead. The drill power can no longer turned on - I've checked there is a broken power cable inside that connected to the carbon brushes.
I have soldered the broken cable and assembled back everything in place but the drill still not powering on - in the end it turns out the carbon brushes also has been worn out quite badly. So I get a new carbon brushes and there it is - it's working as it used to be.
