Hi, Meiji Jap,
ReplyDeleteI need your help, please. I beg you. I saw you on YouTube with a Compaq Presario 2500 laptop, because I recently installed Lubuntu (Linux) on it and I wanted to open it and clean it from inside. Now that I am finished, it does not boot. It was supposed to be my dad's and my laptop for the following years :(
The laptop has somehow noticed that I opened it. When I turn it on, lights go on but nothing happens, except for a sound from the empty CD player followed by three beebs. I ensembled everything back as good as I could :( Maybe I was not supposed to unplug the RAM? I am fitting the hard drive with the laptop already ensenmbled, "from the outside", maybe that is not good enough?
This is pretty sad for us. I really hope to hear from you soon.
Al
Hi al -- did you also open removed the processor from the place? or
DeleteSound 3 beeps could be because of either 3 of the thing you have not put in back in place properly (it need to be snugged).
1. RAM
2. Processor
3. Graphic card
Try to open these 3 things and put it back properly again. Sometimes you may not realize it
