Just recently I’ve my Toshiba Satellite A60 notebook hard disk faulty due to some heavy usage and old age. So I just figure out how to change it myself rather than wasting some money to send it to computer technician. Anyway the job is rather simple and the tool I need is just a Phillips head screwdriver.
How to do it:
1. Flip over Toshiba A60 notebook upside down
2. On the left hand side you will see the hard drive compartment
3. Unscrew the hard drive cover
4. Remove the hard disk cover carefully to avoid breakage
5. Pull out the hard disk
This Toshiba Satellite A60 System Unit P4532 Model No: PSA60L – OC9003 made in China was a bad purchase. The system can easily heat up if use within one or two hours and it is very prone to faulty such as the CPU, Keyboard, and CPU Fan. The major stupidity of this laptop is the inside view of the system is assemble like as if it is done by surgeon where there are lot of adhesive material use to stick the part to one another.
