Picasa is a software application for organizing and editing digital photos owned by Google. You can download it for FREE at Picasa Google for desktop version which is compatible with Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7 Operating Systems. Using Picasa to manipulate lighting, shadows, and colors is very easy and most importantly it makes an ordinary photos look lively and fabulous.
When taking photos in open space the outcome is not always great due to excessive or lack of exposure to light. As a result the photos taken are just looks ordinary especially using cameras with average 8 to 12 mega pixel capability. However not to worry as you can still make looks great using Picasa image editing using light, shadows, and color adjustments before sending them to photo shop for printing.
How to make pictures look lively in Picasa
Step 1: Double Click on the pictures to edit
Step 2: In editing mode click on Tuning Tab and adjust play around with the Highlights and Shadows to reveal the structural frame of the photos until you satisfy with the result.
Step 3: Add Fill Light to adjust the brightness
Step 4: Go to Effects and play around with the different image options to find the best outcome. Once it is done you can save the photo.
