Installing pipe hose with screws without PTFE plumbing tape

Installing the pipe hose with screws without PTFE plumbing tape is a big mistake...the water going to leak through the screw head - and you may think the host screw head is faulty. But actually it's not because of the screw head is screw-able it leave space so it can turn if it is not tighten enough without assist from the PTFE plumbing it will leak badly. This is a first experience using it and almost got it returned to get a new replacement. But after using the plumbing tape and re-screwed all good.
