BFG591 RF transistor pin out (up to 7 Ghz)

BFG591 is one of the cheapest RF transistor you can get - based on the datasheet it could reach up to 7 Ghz max frequency and for that it is very good for wideband RF amplifier circuit. The pinout configuration are as shown in the screenshot below.

Pin 1 and Pin 3 = Emitter
Pin 2 = Base
Pin 4 = Collector

Despite being an SMD component this transistor could easily be soldered on normal circuit board including the prototype breadboard. Package type is SOT-223.



Emitter = Source
Collector = Drain
Base = Gate
