Simple running LED chaser / sequencer using 555 Timer and CD4017 Decade Counter IC

Simple running LED / sequencer circuit using 555 Timer and CD4017 Decade Counter. The circuit setup is much more simpler than i thought - and the chaser flash is very smooth as it is precisely powered by the clock counter. Running LED sequencer can also be made purely using transistors circuit but it's just that it won't performed as smooth as the clock counter. It is very good project for electronic beginners.
