It's time to replace the GP maintenance free battery that i have acquired around 1 year 5 months ago. After the voltage drop to 11.7 ~ 11.8 volt it can no longer kick start the car. The price was around RM230 and it only lasted for 1 year 5 months that's too little economical value in it.
Now i am getting back using the liquid cell battery from Fujiya NS40ZL from local manufacturer in Kuching. Hopefully it will last around 3 to 4 years like the last time the original battery Yokohama.
See the last time GP-MF NS40ZL installed on 30 Jun 2016 now is 29 November 2017 (approximately 1 year 5 months). The Hyundai Enercell 42B19L was better than the GP and it lasted around 2 years. The original liquid cell battery was the longest until the terminal was corroded by the acid then it kaput read here Perodua Battery Alza record.
For your information: The battery GP level indicator with the lens is completely useless even the last time Hyundai Enercell indicator also useless. No function at all completely a waste of manufacturing idea.

This is the first time refilling the Fujiya NS40ZL battery water since it was first used on the 27 November 2017 that is almost 10 months...that is consider quite a long time and i want to see how long this battery will last compare to the dry cell so called free maintenance battery (that is only last for 1.5 years average). We will see when the time come the battery is finally dead
ReplyDeleteToday exactly 1 year i have recorded twice filling in the battery water and it's still running very good. We will see how long more this liquid battery will last compare to the dry cell free maintenance battery
