How to - cheap and effective car tar stain and minor scratch remover

Tar stain (asphalt) can be easily removed when still fresh but after a number of years, it becomes hardened and tough to remove. This is just a record of cheap and effective minor scratch remover as well as tar - it costs around RM10 and it works like a charm. It is called WAXCO Metallic-colour scratch remover from mr.DIY, it was a hesitation to try in the first place but since the price is not very expensive so might give it a go for experiment sake.

How to apply the tar remover?

Use plate washing sponge with the rough surface to give it more strength to the abrasive effect - apply some of the stain removers paste on the sponge and scrub all the tars away. It works really great and cleans all the asphalt stains that have been there for quite a number of years.

Apart from that minor car scratches also can be removed / clean easily with the paste. Just apply a small amount on a piece of cloth and wipe away the scratches it will be gone just like that. Very good stuff for a cheap price and it really worth the purchase.

Baking soda is a good household product that can remove difficult tar stain - but it requires some effort to scrub it.
