How to count one to ten in Bidayuh

Having the knowledge of multiple languages is interesting especially when you live in muti-racial country like Malaysia. We have various kind of races and ethnicity ranging from the Malay, Chinese, Indians, Natives, etc. Learning everyone's language can make you easily fit into different racial communities.

If you are living in the state of Sarawak, you will discover the interesting facts about the people here and everyone knows how to speak at least minimum of 3 or 4 languages namely (Melayu Sarawak, Bahasa Malaysia, English, and their own mother tongue language). Some Sarawakian can even speak 7 to 10 of main-ethnic including sub-ethnic languages.

Here i am going to teach you how to count from 1 to 10 in Bidayuh Jagoi language. The people of the land whose ancestors in the past used to live on the top of the mountain.

One = Nik
Two = Duoh
Three = Taluh
Four = Pat
Five = Limoh
Six = Nuom
Seven = Ju'k
Eight = Moih
Nine = Pri'i
Ten = Smoong
