How to open Toshiba Satellite A60 Notebook Series Keyboard

Keyboards are one of the most utilize part of a laptop computer, as a result it often become faulty after sometimes. This is no exception to Toshiba A60 Notebook series. Fortunately it is not difficult to open Toshiba A60 laptop keyboard, it’s just require some hands on experience in order to get it right. And of course always exercise caution not to damage any of the part.

Tool Required

2 Pieces of Flat Head Screwdrivers
1 Phillips head screwdriver

How to open it:

1. Stretch the Toshiba A60 monitor around 150 degree near flat
2. Use 2 Flat head screwdrivers to lift up the plastic rail cover on the left and right
3. Remove the keyboard screws using Phillips head screw driver
4. Pull the keyboard cable connect from the motherboard.


Caution:

1. Do not stretch the monitor too much in step 1 to avoid unwanted damage
2. Gently use 2 flat head screwdrivers to remove the plastic cover rail to avoid breakage
