What is ASPELL.EXE?

ASPELL.EXE is an executable file that is categorized in the process file. It belongs to multi-protocol instant messaging application developed by dotSyntax, LLC called Digsby.

ASPELL.EXE create processes on the disk randomly at times. And by doing that it slows down the performance of computers significantly. However this process is not yet detected as malicious by any anti-malware applications.



How to check if ASPELL.EXE is running? Just check if you are running Digsby instant messenger there is likely that ASPELL.EXE is also executing. Then at times your hard disk process randomly and caused slow down on computer performance. Check on Task Manager.

Right Click on TaskBar → Start Task Manager → Click on Processes
